Zalmi Football Club or ZFC is the first officially announced football club in the Pakistan Football League (PFL). Its owner Javed Afridi made this announcement on its official X (Twitter) Handel. Afridi also owns the Peshawar Zalmi cricket team in the Pakistan Super League and has much experience managing franchised-based teams.

Pakistan Football League or PFL UK Holding is the founder of this football league. They promised to bring huge investment into the Pakistan football circle.
