Nagal turned pro in 2015 and won his first title by winning the Junior Wimbledon men’s doubles final. He won the 2017 Bangalore ATP Challenger Tour title by defeating Jay Clark; this was his first-ever title.
He won the gold medal in the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in 2017 as well. Nagal made his Grand Slam debut in the 2019 US Open, where he faced five-time champion Roger Federer in the main draw, though he managed to win the first set but lost the match.
